Summer Update

Our annual music event Gig on the Green is nearly upon us! Saturday 27 July is a date for your diary- if you haven’t got tickets yet, get them here

Brace yourself for an unforgettable day of local music, great food, cold drinks; a day of making memories with friends and family. And all on your doorstep too- Crawley Down Village Green.

We have booked eight local music acts, some mouth watering food stalls, a fully stocked bar with new tasty cocktails and a free glitter tattoo artist for the younger, or even young at heart, revellers.

And it doesn’t stop there! Our incredible stage is bigger and better this year, with thanks to Creative Spark. Make sure you stay for the finale as a surprise display of sounds and lights will close our event so you can go home with a happy heart, full of new memories and hopefully a full tummy too.

And our efforts don’t stop there. We will be bringing you a bigger and better Crawley Down Village Fayre in September.

There will be stalls, food, traditional fayre games and a fun fair. We are also bringing something new to Crawley Down Green - a Birds of Prey display! And the entertainment doesn’t stop there… we have a steel band, fire brigade car display and a Leaps and Beats dance troupe lined up.

Make sure you come and join us on Saturday 7 September from midday. You can keep up to date by joining our Facebook event.

I would personally like to thank all our volunteers that make our events possible. From CDRA committee members, to those  that help at our events from setting up, stewarding and that all important litter picking at the end of the day to keep our village looking how we want it to look.

If you want to find out more about us - about joining the committee or volunteering at our events, why not drop us an email at This email address is being protected from spambots.
