The Crawley Down Residents Association is delighted to announce that at the 2019 Christmas Lights Switch On there will not only be Santas Grotto and Fayreground rides but also a Synthetic Ice Rink! So, make sure 30th November is firmly in your diary and come on down to get in the festive spirit. Take a look below to see what's happening throughout the day...
Synthetic Ice Rink
We believe this is a first for Crawley Down... our very own 'Ice Rink'! The CDRA have hired a synthetic Ice Rink so that everyone can have a go at Ice Skating within walking distance of your own home!
Each session will last 30 minutes and costs only £4.50 per person (if you're not yet a member the first ticket you buy will cost £7, which includes your CDRA membership fee). Subject to availability, non-members will be able to pay on the day, these tickets will cost £8. So, to avoid the session you want selling out join today to benefit from presale and discounted tickets!!
Please note that all skaters under the age of 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult on the ice (and buy a ticket for both the child and adult)
Hiring a Synthetic Ice Rink costs quite a bit and the CDRA does not expect ticket sales to cover our costs, but that doesn't matter - the CDRA is here for the good of the community and this is our little Christmas present to the community.

Santa's Grotto
Santa will be returning to his Grotto at King & Chasemore for another year! He is looking forward to saying hello to local children from 2pm and will have a small gift if they're on his 'good list'!
To avoid long queues we are operating a ticketing system this year - please reserve your ticket at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/cdra/meet-santa-in-crawley-down/e-axqkeb and ensure that you bring your ticket (either hard copy or on your phone) on the day to avoid disappointment. So long as we are running to time you will be seen within 20 minutes of your ticket time..!
We ask that anyone visiting the grotto considers making a small donation to help cover costs.

2019 Christmas Light Switch On
The Crawley Down Christmas Lights Association have been working hard all year raising funds and testing their lights! It’s not too late to donate to the Christmas Lights Association, they’ll be selling raffle tickets outside the shops, every weekend in November, as well as at this event event!
